Richard Martin:

Richard qualified as a solicitor in 1971 and joined Andrews Martin (or Andrews Hepworth & Co as it was then) in 1972 becoming a partner soon afterwards. He is a member of the Law Society, the Society of Trust and Estate Practioners (STEP), Solicitors for the Elderly and Lawyers for your Business. He is past President of the Gloucestershire and Wiltshire Law Society (2008/2009) and is Court of Protection panel solicitor for Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.

Richard has been practising as a Public Notary in the Swindon area for over 27 years having been appointed by the Archbishop of Canterbury in 1981.

Richard now specialises in all aspects of small business and commercial law together with probate and Court of Protection cases and looks after the finances of a number of elderly and vulnerable people.

Patricia Martin:

Patricia qualified as a solicitor in 1981 and has always practised in the Wiltshire and Gloucestershire area. She is a member of Action for Elder Abuse and the Law Society’s Probate Section. Patricia has completed the Qualification in Notarial Practice at Cambridge University and will be joining Richard as a Public Notary practising in Swindon and the surrounding areas of Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.

Patricia specialises in elderly and vulnerable client work, Wills, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney and looks after the financial affairs of a number of elderly and incapacited clients..

Robert Roythorne:

Robert is a senior managing clerk and reports to partner Richard Martin. Robert is married with two daughters. He has lived and worked in the Swindon area for over 30 years where he has acquired wide and varied experience in all aspects of property related matters. Robert endeavours to meet his client’s expectations as quickly and smoothly as possible and guide them through the transaction to ensure that the experience is as enjoyable as possible. He also advises individuals and employers in Employment Law matters.

Pam is the legal cashier and office manager, having been with Andrews Martin for over 25 years. Pam is a Divisional Guide Commissioner and is involved with many local interest groups in Swindon.

Emma Ryan:

Emma, senior legal secretary, assists Richard and Patricia Martin. She has achieved Part 1 of the Institute of Legal Executives qualification (ILEX) and has several years of legal experience. Emma acts as the Notarial Clerk to the Public Notary.

Emily is a senior legal secretary, assisting Robert Roythorne with Conveyancing and Employment matters. She has a wealth of legal experience and is presently undertaking her Institute of Legal Executives qualification (ILEX).
